The main task of SID is to contribute to defining and promoting the cultural and scientific identity of Italian design. A complex identity, directly involved in cultural and social progress, economic development, and the definition of educational and research profiles in the field of design.
The conference aims to initiate an open debate on the topics suggested by the title, and for this purpose, it identifies 5 working groups whose outcomes will form the SID Agenda, a guiding document for the initiatives that the scientific society will promote with the participation of its members.
