SID Sponsorship

REGULATIONS FOR THE GRANTING OF SPONSORSHIPS AND THE USE OF THE SID LOGO
These Regulations establish the criteria and methods for granting sponsorships for initiatives organized by public and private entities, both profit and non-profit, as well as the correct use of the logo.
SID grants its sponsorship and the use of its logo to those initiatives, whether individual or programs, aimed at promoting Design in its scientific and cultural aspects.
The granting of sponsorship does not confer any right or expectation of continuity for other initiatives or for the same initiative repeated periodically, which must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The granting of sponsorship and the SID logo also corresponds to the inclusion of the initiative among the news on the Italian Design Society’s website, accompanied by the brand/logo, main data, and a brief description.
The granting of sponsorship is formalized by the Board of Directors, after examining the application
and the documentation received, based on the following criteria:
• consistency of the activity or initiative with the institutional purposes of SID as described in the Statute;
• significance of the relationship between SID’s reputation and the initiative, evaluated in relation to the content,
the territorial scale (local, national, international), and the planned communication tools;
• the possible participation of an SID Delegate in the initiative.

Those interested in obtaining SID sponsorship must submit a written request addressed to the SID secretariat using the downloadable form.
This request, accompanied by adequate documentation, must be submitted at least 30 (thirty) days in advance of the start date of the event.

The granting of sponsorship does not entail SID providing contributions or participating in the organizational expenses of the sponsored initiative.
