The Italian Design Society SID announces the extension of the deadline to 31-01-2026 for the submission of research projects (full papers) and research ideas (posters and short papers) for the 2026 Annual Conference "Fare Design/Design Doing", which will be held in Bolzano on June 25-26, 2026, at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

On the occasion of the 2026 Annual Conference, Design Doing/Design Making, SID invites the Italian and international academic community to explore the theme of design making, both as the creation of something tangible and as a transformative and emancipatory capability.

The President and the SID Board of Directors thank all participants of the SID 2025 Annual Conference "Plural Design: Alternative Cases and Models for Innovation," which saw the presence of over 300 researchers and professors from all over Italy.
