The Systemic Design Association, in collaboration with the SYS — Systemic Design Lab of the Politecnico di Torino, hosts the fifteenth edition of the Relating Systems Thinking and Design Symposium. This year’s theme, “Shades of Systemic Design”, invites the community to explore how design addresses complex contemporary ecological and social challenges through a plurality of approaches, contexts, and viewpoints. Various types of contributions are welcome — full and short papers, PhD Colloquium submissions, in-person workshops, and contributions for the “Data in relation” exhibition — organized around four thematic axes: geographies and ecologies, pedagogies and methods, visions and ontologies, practices and tools.
The program includes online sessions on October 8 and 9, 2026, and the in-person event from October 13 to 16, 2026, at the Castello del Valentino, Turin.
