Following the work of the third SID National Assembly on the theme Design Tailored to Measure, which provided an opportunity to discuss the various specializations and nuances of our discipline, the evolution of research and actions, and to learn about the activities conducted at different locations, we invite all members, whether present or not in Genoa, to participate in the call for the publication of the volume Design Tailored to Measure, which you will find attached, as discussed in Genoa.
This will be a digital volume with an ISBN – SID, whose contributions, the subject of this call, are the realization of the presentations made, as well as those that could not be accommodated, and those from individuals who could not participate, to be included in a collection of actions, practices, and research that capture Design in its disciplinary dimension of our time. All this is to make tangible and share the work that the Society is carrying out to safeguard the project culture inherent in design and to disseminate our work within and outside our community.
All technical guidelines for drafting are included in the attached call, with texts varying in length between 15,000 and 20,000 characters, with submission due by December 10.
