The call is open for the “RSD7 – RELATING SYSTEMS THINKING AND DESIGN 7” symposium, which will take place from October 24 to 26, 2018, in Turin. RSD7 is an event sponsored by the Italian Design Society.
The world we live in is fast-paced and multifaceted, characterized by continuous changes that are more frequent, radical, and dramatic than ever. Their scale rapidly shifts from local to global and vice versa, due to the increasingly interconnected nature of relationships, affecting society at various levels. This results in growing complexity that demands new creative solutions with a high degree of adaptability to be adequately addressed. It is in this scenario that Systemic Design can effectively integrate systems thinking and design to tackle this complexity, creating new resilient systems that move towards sustainability at environmental, social, and economic levels.
