The Call for Papers is open for the Special Issue “Participatory Design meets Artificial Intelligence: Co-imagining mutual learning of AI technologies and designing with AI tools” of the Interaction Design and Architecture(s) Journal (IxD&A).
The special issue, curated by Susanne Stigberg and Klaudia Carcani (Østfold University College, Norway) and Suhas Govind Joshi and Tone Bratteteig (University of Oslo, Norway), explores the intersection between Participatory Design (PD) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The call invites contributions on emerging perspectives and practices at the intersection of AI and PD, opening an interdisciplinary discussion on opportunities for collaboration, co-design, and mutual learning to develop ethical and responsible AI solutions that address the challenges of digitized societies.
