The Italian Design Society SID announces the extension of the deadline to 31-01-2026 for the submission of research projects (full papers) and research ideas (posters and short papers) for the 2026 Annual Conference “Fare Design/Design Doing”, which will be held in Bolzano on June 25-26, 2026, at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
The conference invites the Italian and international academic community to explore the theme of design doing as the creation of something tangible and as a transformative and emancipatory capability, reflecting on which values, sensibilities, and practices guide design processes and how design can become a tool for transformation towards more just, sustainable, and supportive futures.
