On October 5, 2021, Vanni Pasca passed away. A design scholar, refined intellectual, and cultural animator, he was a mentor to entire generations. Due to his central role in design culture, SID recognized him as an Honorary Member in 2019, and ADI awarded him the Compasso d’Oro for his career in 2020.
SID fondly remembers Vanni and wishes to share with the entire community the sorrow for the loss of a design protagonist and, at the same time, a friend.
