In December 2014, the city of Turin was awarded the title of UNESCO Creative City for Design, the only Italian city in this category.
The title of Creative City acknowledges Turin’s ability to expand its identity over the years, combining its historical industrial profile with new vocations in research and technology, education and knowledge, culture, arts, and tourism.
From December 4 to 8, 2015, Turin hosts exhibitions, meetings, and workshops to celebrate the UNESCO title of Turin as a city of design.
